Day 1. Istanbul – Pristina – Prizren – Budva

Meeting in front of the International Departures Terminal at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at the …. counter. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart with Pegasus Airlines flight PC341 at 08:15 for Pristina. Arrival in Pristina at 08:50. After completing passport, baggage, and customs procedures, we head out for a panoramic city tour of Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. During our tour, the Bazaar, the Bazaar Mosque built by Sultan Bayezid in the 15th century, and the clock tower will be among the sights seen from the outside. Then we proceed to Prizren, known as one of the most elegant cities of the Balkans and Kosovo. On the city tour we will take in Prizren, the 17th-century Turkish Bath, Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress are among the places to be seen. Later we travel on for the Budva tour. After arrival in Budva, we take a short Budva tour before checking into the hotel. Accommodation will be at the hotel in Budva, and dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 2. Budva – Kotor – Tivat – Tirana

After breakfast, our first stop is Kotor. This small city, notable for its historical and architectural richness, has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. On the city tour we will do on foot, we will have the chance to see the important structures of Kotor, bearing traces of Venetian architecture. During the free time given, our guests who wish may visit Perast by boat tour. The final stop of our journey along the shores of the bay will be the city of Tivat, where Porto Montenegro is located. After a short Tivat tour, we head to Tirana. Upon arrival in Tirana, we carry out our panoramic city tour. During our tour, Et'hem Bey Mosque, the historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, the Presidential Palace, the Mother Teresa Statue, and Skanderbeg Square are some of the places we will see. Afterwards, we proceed to our hotel; accommodation and dinner will be served at our hotel.

Day 3: Tirana – Kruja - Struga - Ohrid

After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Kruja tour. Kruja is one of the most impressive places to see in Albania. Located about 40 km north of Tirana and surrounded by steep rocks, this castle stands out with its 800-meter-long area and the walls surrounding it. In Kruja, located overlooking the Fushe Kruje plain, important places we will see include the Skanderbeg Museum, the Yellow Saltuk Dervish Lodge, Esad Toptani Pasha Mansion, Kruja Castle, Dolma Baba Bektashi Lodge, the Ottoman Bath, and Murat Bey Mosque. After our tour, we head toward Ohrid, the pearl of the Balkans. Before reaching Ohrid, we visit the small town of Struga and then arrive in Ohrid. With our arrival, we begin the Ohrid city tour, which takes its name from Lake Ohrid, one of the largest lakes in the Balkans. Starting at the Port Square, we continue by explaining the statues in the square and walk through the area where the historic Ohrid houses, where the TV series Elveda Rumeli was filmed, are located. Here we complete our tour by seeing the historic Ottoman houses, the Church of St. Sophia, and the famous Ohrid Pearl presentation, one of Ohrid’s greatest symbols. Guests who wish may join the Lake Ohrid boat activity organized by our guide. After free time, we transfer to our hotel in Ohrid and have dinner at our hotel.

Day 4: Ohrid (St. Naum – Resen – Bitola(Manastır) – Skopje

After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the St. Naum - Resen - Monastery (Bitola) tour. On our tour, first we reach St. Naum after about a 1-hour journey accompanied by magnificent views. We visit the source where Lake Ohrid originates and enjoy the unique scenery here. Then we move on to Resen. Here we see the Palace of Niyazi of Resen, one of the three most famous figures of the Committee of Union and Progress, known for his contributions in the Turkish-Greek War, and then arrive in Bitola. During our city tour of Manastır (Bitola), we visit the Turkish Bazaar, Bezisten, Ishak Mosque, Yeni Mosque, Haydar Kadi Mosque, and the Military High School where Atatürk graduated, as well as the Atatürk Museum, where you will experience the most emotional moments throughout the tour. After our tour, we head to Skopje. We begin our tour introducing this city, where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, with the Macedonian side, which we can call the land of statues. First, we will see the massive statue of Alexander the Great, then cross the historic Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River and witness how the cultures change. Afterwards, we move on to Skopje’s Turkish Bazaar, one of the most distinguished bazaars of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. Starting our tour by explaining the statues at the bazaar entrance and the historic Daut Pasha Bath, we continue and then see Kapan Han, one of the important structures of the Ottoman bazaar layout, and Murat Pasha Mosque, which has managed to stand despite earthquakes, before settling into our hotel in Skopje. The main cities to be visited as part of the tour program, the daily route order, and the estimated departure-arrival times will be shared with participants in advance. On this tour, which day in Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia which city will be visited, the intercity transfer times, and approximate arrival times are announced before travel. In this way, guests can plan their days more comfortably and create a suitable schedule for shopping, free time, or optional excursions.

The tour duration is 4 nights and 5 days, and accommodations are mostly in double rooms at 3- or 4-star hotels close to the city center; an additional fee may apply for guests who prefer single accommodation. Throughout the tour, 4 nights of accommodation are provided, generally in safe and easily accessible 3- or 4-star hotels close to the city center. Rooms are usually arranged as shared twin rooms, and guests who wish to stay alone may be charged an extra fee under the name of a single-room supplement.

The services included in the price and the items not included should be clearly stated before the tour. Whether items such as transportation, accommodation, certain meals, panoramic city tours, and guide services are included in the price should be clarified at the time of sale. In addition, extra costs such as visa processing fees if required, optional excursions, museum and archaeological site entrance fees, personal expenses, and some meals should also be detailed in advance to prevent any unexpected later expenses.

Passport validity, visa requirements, green passport rights, and documents that may be needed at border crossings should be checked before the tour date. Since entry to Balkan countries generally requires your passport to remain valid for at least another 3-6 months, this period should definitely be reviewed in advance. It is recommended that you bring seasonally appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, personal medications, a plug adapter if needed, cash euros for extra expenses, and/or a credit card. Since the local currency is often obtained upon arrival, layered clothing suitable for the weather and comfortable shoes are of great importance because there will be a lot of walking in Balkan cities. You may bring your personal medications, your adapter for hotels using different plug types, and some cash euros along with your credit or debit cards for small expenses, and you can usually exchange to the local currency through exchange offices or banks in the country you are visiting.

It should be remembered that due to weather conditions, traffic, congestion at border gates, or decisions by official authorities, there may be minor changes in the times and content of the tour program, and in such cases the guide's information and directions will be taken as the basis. Especially during border crossings and intercity travel, delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, or customs congestion, and slight shifts in the program flow may happen.
