Cappadocia Tour (4 Days 3 Nights)

In the early morning hours, you will be picked up from your hotel for your journey to Cappadocia and transferred to the airport.

After arriving at Kayseri or Nevşehir Airport, we proceed to Devrent Valley, famous for its uniquely shaped fairy chimneys, where we spend time in this stunning natural landscape. Afterwards, we visit Paşabağı, known for its numerous multi-gabled and mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys characteristic of the region. Following our tour of Paşabağı, we head to Avanos, renowned for its pottery tradition dating back to the Hittites, where we closely observe workshops operated by local artisans. After lunch, we move on to Göreme Open-Air Museum to see churches, chapels, and monasteries carved into the fairy chimneys and adorned with frescoes on their walls. The Dark Church is not included in the entrance fee and is subject to an additional charge. Later, as we make our way to our hotel in Cappadocia, we allow free time for you to take photos in the valleys along the route.

We meet at the hotel lobby in the morning and set off towards Rose Valley, one of Cappadocia's most enjoyable hiking routes. During our hike in this valley, we explore the famous rock churches. We take a short break to rest in Çavuşin, an old Greek village known for its Christian homes and places of worship. After lunch, we visit Ortahisar Fortress, which stands out with its structure reminiscent of Uçhisar Castle and is also known for its storage caves. In the afternoon, we head to either Kaymaklı or Özkonak Underground City, where early Christians sought refuge amidst fear and belief. Along the way, we make a brief stop in the panoramic Pigeon Valley, where pigeon manure contributes to the fertility of the vineyards. Guests who wish can enjoy a tasting of Cappadocian wine at a local winery. Afterwards, we return to our hotel in Cappadocia for overnight stay.

In the morning, we gather in the hotel lobby and head towards Ihlara Valley, formed from volcanic ash. After walking along the valley fed by the Melendiz River, we reach Selime, known for its castles and churches carved into steep slopes. We take a short break in Yaprakhisar village for photo opportunities. In the afternoon, we visit Derinkuyu Underground City, which was used by Christian communities as stables, cellars, storage rooms, dining halls, churches, and wineries. Afterwards, we proceed to our hotel in Cappadocia for overnight stay.

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevşehir Airport for your return.
