After picking you up from your hotels in the city center, we begin our tour. The places we will visit include Dolmabahçe Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace Gardens, and Bezm-i Âlem Valide Sultan Mosque.
Built between 1843 and 1856 by architect Karabet Balyan during the reign of Sultan Abdülmecid, Dolmabahçe Palace is an impressive structure that brings together various European architectural styles. It features 285 rooms, 46 halls, 6 baths, and 68 toilets. Its magnificent architecture, unique decorations, furniture, silk carpets, curtains, and other ornaments are truly dazzling. From 1856 to 1922, Dolmabahçe Palace served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire.
Commissioned by Bezm-i Âlem Valide Sultan and completed by her son Sultan Abdülmecid, Bezm-i Âlem Mosque is also known as Dolmabahçe Mosque. It was completed in 1851 and opened for worship. Between 1948 and 1961, it was used as the Naval Museum for a period. Today, it remains open for worship.
