After picking up our valued guests from our designated departure points, we arrive in the capital Ankara with our en route breaks and a morning onboard breakfast package (cold sandwich and fruit juice) service.
We begin our tour with Ankara Castle, which bears traces from the Hittites. After touring the inner and outer castle sections, we proceed to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, the present-day form of the historic Mahmut Pasha and Kurşunlu Han structures near the castle. Here we examine valuable artifacts belonging to the civilizations that lived in the Anatolian geography. Afterwards, we visit the Ankara Ethnography Museum, which housed the remains of Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK from 1938 to 1953. Then, after seeing the Ulus Victory Monument in Ulus Square, we go to the 1st Parliament building, which is also used today as the War of Independence Museum. We tour this historic parliament, where the Republic was proclaimed between April 23, 1920 and October 15, 1924, the National Anthem was adopted, Ankara became the capital, and Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK was elected President. Afterwards, we move on to the 2nd Grand National Assembly of Turkey building, which today serves as the Republic Museum.
Then we head to the Balgat area for our lunch. After the meal, we arrive at Anıtkabir, the eternal resting place of the first President and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Turkey, Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, located at Ankara Rasattepe, that is, Anıttepe. After touring Anıtkabir, we also have the opportunity to see the lower sections of the War of Independence Museum. Afterwards, we proceed to Beypazarı, which has preserved Ottoman architecture to the present day. Accommodation and dinner at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, our first stop is İnözü Valley. Of great archaeological importance, this region was used as a living space by the Hittites and Phrygians, and in the Roman period these areas took on the character of monasteries. Moving panoramically along the valley, we see the rock formations, historical and natural caves, and the rich vegetation at the valley floor. Then we visit Boğazkesen Tomb, built in the 13th century, and the Yedililer Tombs belonging to seven saints from Khorasan. After that, we head up to Hıdırlık Hill. In this hill, which has an important place in Ottoman settlements, Hıdırellez celebrations, festivals, and rain prayers used to be held in the past. We take a walk in old Beypazarı, which contains approximately 3000 historical houses, and after shopping for local products, we return to Istanbul in the evening via Adapazarı and İzmit, and bid farewell to you, our valued guests, until we meet again on another tour.
