After picking up our valued guests from the designated departure points, we arrive at the capital city of Ankara with stops along the way and a complimentary morning in-vehicle breakfast package (cold sandwich and fruit juice).
We begin our tour first at Ankara Castle, which bears traces of the Hittites. After touring the inner and outer castle sections, we proceed to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which now occupies the historical Mahmut Pasha and Kurşunlu Han structures near the castle. Here, we examine valuable artifacts belonging to civilizations that lived in the Anatolian region. Afterwards, we visit the Ankara Ethnography Museum, which served as the resting place for Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK from 1938 until 1953. Then, viewing the Victory Monument in Ulus Square, we head to the First Parliament building, which is also used today as the War of Independence Museum. We tour this historic parliament where the Republic was proclaimed between April 23, 1920, and October 15, 1924, the Independence March was accepted, Ankara became the capital, and Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK was elected President. Subsequently, we move to the Second Grand National Assembly Building, which currently operates as the Republican Museum.
Afterwards, we head to the Balgat district for lunch. Following the meal, we reach Anıtkabir, the eternal resting place of Türkiye Cumhuriyetinin ilk Cumhurbaşkanı Başkomutan Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, located on Rasattepe (Anıttepe) in Ankara. After visiting Anıtkabir, we have the opportunity to see the lower sections of the War of Independence Museum. Finally, we proceed to Beypazarı, known for preserving Ottoman architecture to the present day. Accommodation and dinner are at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, our first stop is Inözü Valley. This area, which holds great archaeological importance, was used as a living space by the Hittites and Phrygians in caves; during the Roman period, these areas took on the character of monasteries. We proceed along the valley with panoramic views, observing rock formations, historical and natural caves, and the rich vegetation on the valley floor. Later, we visit the Boğazkesen Tomb, built in the 13th century, and the Yedililer Tombs belonging to the seven sages who came from Khorasan. Then we ascend to Hıdırlık Hill. This hill held an important place in Ottoman settlements, where historically Hıdrellez celebrations, holidays, and rain prayers were held. We then take a stroll through old Beypazarı, home to approximately 3000 historic houses, and after shopping for local products, we make our evening return to Istanbul via Adapazarı and İzmit, bidding farewell to our valued guests until we meet again on another tour.
