We depart from the designated points in the morning and, after a pleasant journey, arrive in Edirne, which served as the capital of the Ottoman State for 100 years. After breakfast here, as our first stop we cross the Mecidiye Bridge, which was opened to traffic in 1847 over the Meriç River, is 263 meters long, 7 meters wide, and was built with 12 arches on 13 piers, and we arrive in Karaağaç. Here we visit the monument explaining Lausanne and world peace and the museum where documents belonging to İsmet İnönü are exhibited, and then we view the historic guardhouse and station building panoramically. Afterwards we tour the historic Kaleiçi Houses, the Şükrü Paşa Monument, and the Balkan War Museum, and then we arrive at the Selimiye Mosque, which Mimar Sinan called my masterpiece from his mastership period. After the visit to Selimiye Mosque and Complex, we provide free time for shopping in the Bedesten. After the lunch we will have here, we go to the Old Mosque, the oldest monumental structure in Edirne that has survived from the Ottomans to the present day. From here, we visit the three-balcony mosque with a 67-meter minaret and a 24-meter dome, built by Murad II between 1447 and 1483, and then we arrive at the Bayezid Complex, with 100 domes, built by Bayezid II in 1488 by Mimar Hayreddin. After the visit here, we tour the health museum located in the infirmary, then we see the Macedonia Tower, Genoese Tower, Deveci Han, Cultural Center, Bedesten, Uzun Bazaar, and Archaeology Museum. After the tour of the Sarayiçi Justice Pavilion, where the Kırkpınar wrestling matches have been held for 600 years, and the visit to the Balkan Martyrs' Cemetery, later in the day we return to Istanbul and bid farewell to our guests, hoping to meet again on another tour.
