Tour Program
DAY: GÖLCÜK LAKE – AKKAYA TRAVERTINES – ABANT LAKE
We begin our journey by picking up our guests from the designated points in the morning and, after approximately a 3.5-4 hour drive, arrive at Lake Gölcük, the “Lake from the Postcards.” After our stroll around the lake, we take a tea-coffee break at our facility (extra). After some free time, we set off to see Akkaya Travertines, “Bolu’s Pamukkale.” It is located in the center of Çepni village, 9 km on the Bolu-Mudurnu highway. Akkaya travertines, the only example in Bolu and the Western Black Sea Region, one of the rare areas that has not been built on and has preserved its natural structure exactly as it is, has a formation 250 m long in the east-west direction, and 100 m west of this formation there is another 50 m long formation. After free time, we head to Abant Lake. During the free time we will spend here, our guests who wish can have lunch, breathe in the fresh air and take a walk around the lake, enjoy peaceful moments accompanied by the sounds of water and birds, take photos of the enchanting views of Abant Lake, and enjoy the reflections formed on the lake surface. Guests who wish can shop at the local market area by the lakeside or join the carriage tour for an extra fee to see the surroundings from a different perspective.
At the end of the day, we return to Istanbul in the evening, drop you off at the points where we picked you up, and bid farewell until we meet again at another organization.

It is absolutely not possible to promise or guarantee a seat number at the time of reservation. If deemed necessary by the guide, the guide has the right to make changes to the timing and flow, provided that the entire program is carried out. Our tour is a day trip and does not include hotel accommodation. Our tours are a package consisting of bus transportation, tour program, and guiding services, and cannot be evaluated separately. No refund will be made for transportation, sightseeing tours, or similar services not used within the scope of the tour.
Our vehicles depart from the designated departure points for each tour at the announced times. You must be present at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Before the tour participation date, the contact number of the staff responsible for the tour will be sent via SMS to the phone number you provided during reservation. Please make sure that your contact number is correct. Otherwise, the responsibility belongs to you.
In cases where children under 18 who are minors do not join the tour with one or both of their mother or father, it is mandatory to have the required consent forms with them during travel.
The agency reserves the right to cancel the tour if sufficient participation is not achieved, provided that it notifies 3 days in advance. The latest circular supersedes the previous one. VAT is included in our prices.
Fison Travel has no responsibility in cases where places such as facilities, museums, and archaeological sites operating under the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and local municipalities cannot be visited because they are closed due to renovation, maintenance, restoration, or various works, or in excursions that cannot be carried out due to weather conditions before or during the tour.
