Day: Büyükada and Kınalıada
Welcome to an Enjoyable Journey to the Princes’ Islands!
The Princes’ Islands consist of nine islands, five of which are inhabited. Today, we will visit two of these islands and have the opportunity to see three others from the boat.
Our delightful journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel or a designated meeting point arranged by our office. Our guide will welcome you on board, and your journey through Istanbul’s unique beauty will begin. During the cruise, the guide will share fascinating stories about the islands as well as iconic Istanbul landmarks visible along the route.
After approximately one hour of sailing, we will arrive at Büyükada, the largest of the Princes’ Islands. The island’s peaceful atmosphere, free from motorized vehicles, will transport you away from the hustle and bustle of the city into a tranquil, almost fairy-tale-like world. You will have around two hours of free time to enjoy the island at your own pace—rent a bicycle, take a relaxing walk, or swim during the summer months. We especially recommend trying the delicious ice cream from one of the local shops in the marketplace during summer.
After your free time on Büyükada, a delicious lunch will be served on board the boat. We will then continue to Kınalıada, our next stop. On this small yet charming island, you will have one hour of free time to stroll through the streets and enjoy its unique ambiance. Do not miss the opportunity to taste freshly baked bread from the local bakery, filled with butter and traditional tulum cheese.
Following our visit to Kınalıada, we will begin our return journey to Istanbul. Before the tour concludes, we have a special surprise for you! We will make a stop at a leather store where you can explore handmade leather products and enjoy a short fashion show. This brief yet impressive visit provides a pleasant finale to the tour. There is no obligation to make a purchase—simply enjoy the experience.
