We depart in the morning from designated points. After having breakfast on the way, we arrive at Karabük via Gerede. We view the Iron and Steel Factory, one of Turkey's largest investments, in a panoramic manner, then head towards Safranbolu. First, we ascend to Hıdırlık Hill, which offers the most beautiful views of Safranbolu. From here, we enjoy panoramic views of the Turkish and Greek neighborhoods and see the monuments located there. Afterwards, we begin exploring the historic buildings one by one along Safranbolu's cobblestone streets. These include: the Government Building, Clock Tower, Köprülü Mehmet Pasha Mosque with its sundial in the courtyard, Kaymakamlar Evi (a museum house), Cinci Hoca Hamam and Han, İzzet Mehmet Pasha Mosque, Akçasu Canyon, Arasta Bazaar where craftsmen practicing the same trade are gathered together, the historic village coffeehouse, Demirciler Bazaar, Bakırcılar Bazaar, and Semerciler Bazaar.
After our tours, we visit the famous İmren Lokum Confectionery, where renowned Safranbolu lokums are produced. Then, we proceed to our hotel for accommodation and dinner.
After breakfast, we head to the Crystal Glass Terrace, built 80 meters above ground and 11 meters wide over Tokatlı Canyon. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of Tokatlı Canyon right beneath our feet.
Following the Glass Terrace, we move towards Yörük Village, which keeps alive the Bektashi tradition and carries the traces of the Yörük Turks. After visiting the Çamaşırhane (laundry house), Sipahioğlu Mansion, and the village market—common areas in old village life—we set off for Amasra. After lunch, we begin our tour of Amasra. We visit Amasra Castle, which dates back to the Genoese era; Kemere Bridge, constructed during the Roman period; Fatih Mosque, originally a Byzantine church; Kale Mescidi; Boztepe; and Çekiciler Bazaar, famous for its woodwork. After photographing Tavşan Island from afar, we embark on our return journey to Istanbul. We drop off our guests at their respective points and bid farewell until the next event.
During reservation, a seat number commitment and guarantee cannot be given under any circumstances. The guide has the right to make changes to the timing and flow when deemed necessary, provided that the entire program is implemented. Our tours are a whole with hotel, bus, tour program, and guiding services; they cannot be evaluated separately. Transportation, accommodation, sightseeing tours, and similar rights not used during the tour are not refundable.
Our vehicles depart from the designated departure points for each tour at the announced times; please be at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Before the tour participation date, the contact number of the tour representative will be sent as a text message to the phone number you provided during reservation. Please make sure that the contact information you provide is correct. Otherwise, the responsibility is yours.
When children under 18 do not participate in the tour together with one or both of their mother or father, the required consent forms must be kept with them during the trip.
The agency reserves the right to cancel the tour 3 days in advance if sufficient participation is not achieved. The latest bulletin supersedes the previous bulletin. VAT is included in our prices.
Fison Travel accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the inability to visit facilities, museums, and historical sites operated under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and local municipalities if they are closed due to renovation, maintenance, restoration, or similar works, or for excursions that cannot be carried out before or during the tour due to weather conditions.
