We depart in the morning from the designated points. After breakfast that we will have en route in the morning, we arrive in Karabük via Gerede. We see the Iron and Steel Factory, one of Turkey’s largest investments, in a panoramic view, and then move on toward Safranbolu. First, we go up to Hıdırlık Hill, where we can see Safranbolu in the best way. Here we watch the Turkish and Greek neighborhoods panoramically and see the works located there. Afterwards, we begin touring the historical structures one by one in Safranbolu’s cobblestone streets. These are: the Government House, the Clock Tower, Köprülü Mehmet Paşa Mosque and the sundial in its courtyard, the Kaymakamlar House, which is a museum house, Cinci Hoca Bath and Inn, İzzet Mehmet Paşa Mosque, Akçasu Canyon, Arasta Bazaar, where tradesmen doing the same work are gathered together, and the historical village coffeehouse, the Smiths’ Bazaar, the Coppersmiths’ Bazaar, and the Saddlers’ Bazaar.
After our tours, we visit the İmren Turkish Delight Factory, where the famous Safranbolu Turkish delights are produced. Afterwards, we head to our hotel for accommodation and dinner.
After breakfast, we head to the Crystal Glass Terrace, built 80 meters above ground and 11 meters wide over Tokatlı Canyon. The terrace offers the breathtaking view of Tokatlı Canyon beneath our feet.
After the Glass Terrace, we set off for Yörük Village, which keeps the Bektashi tradition alive and bears traces of the Yörük Turks. After completing our visits to the Laundry House, Sipahioğlu Mansion, and the village market, which stood out as common-use areas in the old village life, we depart for Amasra. After lunch, we begin our Amasra tour. We see Amasra Castle, which has survived from the Genoese to the present day, Kemere Bridge built during the Roman period, Fatih Mosque and the Castle Masjid, converted from a church from the Byzantine period, Boztepe, and the Covered Bazaar, famous for its woodwork. After photographing Rabbit Island from afar, we start our return journey to Istanbul. We bid farewell by dropping our guests off at the points where we picked them up, until we meet again at the next event.
